Hi Everyone,

I am very pleased to announce that one track from "Inventing Fire" has been chosen to appear on a compilation CD that has been put together by the Niagara Falls Recreation and Tourism Commission!

"Above The Great Divide" has recently been placed on the CD "Spirit Of The Falls".  The CD can be purchased at every THE BEAT GOES ON CD store  Canada-wide.

Proceeds from the sales of the CD are being donated to the Eddie Wright Music Foundation.

Hello again,

I have entered the "Hockey Night In Canada Anthem Search".  It is a nation wide contest being put on by our national television broadcaster CBC  to find the next theme for every televised hockey broadcast.  My song is called Home Game.  You can find it by going to  http://www.cbc.ca and clicking the sports link and then the "Anthem Challenge" link.

NEW TOUR

Kevin and his label Da Vinci's Notebook Records are excited to announce that Kevin will be launching a new tour.

The 'One-Man' tour will kick off on May 30, 2009 in Niagara Falls Canada at the INDIE GIVES RISE concert series being put on by A.I.C.R.A. (The Alliance of Independent Canadian Recording Artists). 

Kevin will be playing music from his CD's Inventing Fire and Illumination plus a few surprises all by himself with the help of digital sample triggering and synthesizers.

'Although it sounds a bit cliche, it really is the perfect combination of man and machine.   I will be on-stage all by myself rotating between playing real drums and triggering digital samples, then playing keys while triggering even more samples.  I will need to be an octopus but when it all comes together and is presented the way I want, it will look and sound quite impressive'.
